About the offsite

A trek through Amarone's heritage

Day one opens on a panoramic terrace where vineyard views light up a relaxed strategy huddle.

Afternoon delivers hands-on harvest fun: clippers in hand, you’ll snip ripe clusters, sample juice straight from the press, and toast the land that shapes each bottle.

Evening shifts to Verona’s buzzing food scene with a neon-lit pizza feast—think endless wood-fired slices, laid-back beats, and cold spritzes that keep laughs flowing.

Day two greets you with a sunrise trek toward Monte Solane. Ancient mule paths wind through rosemary and cherry trees until Verona’s skyline and Lake Garda unfold in a single, gasp-worthy sweep.

Back in the valley, a light lunch teams farm-fresh plates with pours of iconic Amarone, letting the region’s signature reds seal every new idea and connection.

With every step and sip, this Wine & Trails package turns Valpolicella’s natural rhythm into fuel for clearer thinking, tighter bonds, and memories that last well beyond the final toast.

Where you'll stay

SAN GIORGIO DI VALPOLICELLA, Veneto

Italy

Perched 400 metres above the Valpolicella Classica, San Giorgio di Valpolicella (named Ingannapoltron, “cheater of the lazy”) rewards the climb with a widescreen sweep from Verona’s marble bell-towers to the silver sheet of Lake Garda

The heart of the borgo is its 8th-century Pieve, a Longobard-Romanesque church built from rosy local stone; step inside for faded frescoes and a tiny lapidarium of Roman artefacts, then emerge onto the churchyard terrace for one of Veneto’s finest viewpoints.

All around, dry-stone cottages, olive groves and pergola-trained vines narrate a thousand years of rural life.

Wander narrow alleys scented with rosemary, sample Amarone and Recioto in family cellars, or hike the Sentiero delle Terre for panoramas framed by cypress silhouettes. Evenings belong to trattorie that turn the village’s “white gold” olive oil and spring truffles into comforting plates of bigoli and slow-braised pastissada.

Equal parts spiritual sanctuary and wine-country hideaway, San Giorgio invites travellers to trade hurry for heritage and leave with the taste of Valpolicella still on their lips.
