The game of panforte has an ancient tradition that originates from farmers' games during country cold winter nights, especially during the Christmas festivities. Today you'll be guided by the panforte experts to partake in this beloved tradition for many towns in Tuscany.

To play, you need a piece of panforte, a traditional dessert, a table long enough, and a measuring stick. Each player, in turn, throws the piece of panforte from one end of the table, trying to get as close as possible to the opposite end. At this point, the referee measures the distance between the piece of panforte and the edge of the table. Whoever gets closest to the edge of the table earns a point. If the panforte falls, the throw is null. The team that reaches six points first wins.
