Founded by Master Tetsugen Serra in 1996, SanboJi, meaning Temple of the Three Jewels, is a sanctuary of peace where guests can reconnect with nature and themselves.
The monastery features a blend of restored rural buildings and new constructions, all in the traditional Zen style. Surrounded by pristine natural landscapes, including Zen gardens, meadows, and ancient woods, SanboJi provides ample space for reflection and relaxation.
Japanese tatami mats and zafu cushions is available for Zen meditation and activities, open day and night. The expansive grounds and serene squares offer perfect spots to walk, breathe, and enjoy the unique, silent landscape.
