Three main districts - the Farmers’ Town, the Artisans’ Town and the Sailors’ Town – blend to form the historical town, surrounded by beautiful sandy beaches. Authentic “Sicilianity” at its best!

SURROUNDINGS
Seaside
The warm water of the Channel of Sicily, the colorful sunsets on the sea, the palms and olive trees surrounding large sandy beaches make Sciacca a prefect destination for remote workers who want to spend their afternoon working with the feet in the sand in a relaxing atmosphere.
Food & Wine
In the main restaurants and osterias of the town, you will be able to find some of the best examples of the Sicilian cuisine. Fresh fish pasta, olive oil from the surrounding fields, pistachio based preparations, a plethora of traditional desserts starting from word renowned cannoli… just a few examples of the results of a centuries old tradition which will make you feel in paradise!
Thermal waters & natural saunas
Have you ever tried a natural sauna – in a cave where the steam is produced not by artificial means but by natural volcanic processes? Well, the ancient Greeks who colonized Sicily found out that in Monte Kronio, the hill overlooking Sciacca, there are caves where they could rejuvenate in the most natural SPA of the word. Now you can try it too.
Surroundings
Excursions with the shepherds to taste the freshly milked sheep milk, hikes to the top of Monte Kronio, sunsets at San Marco beach, sailing trips in the blue waters of Sicily… Getting bored on Sciacca is pretty difficult!
Mobility
Sciacca is located on the southern coast of Sicily, between Marsala and Agrigento. It is easy to reach from both the airports of Palermo (about 1h30 by bus, with frequent connections) and Trapani (also about 1h30 by bus).
Everything you might need for long term stay is within the historical center, so no need to have a car unless you want to explore the surroundings autonomously in the weekends.

CO-WORKING FEATURES

Our co-working space in Sciacca is located in Piazza Libertà 2, inside a medieval bastion of the 16th century. It is in the very centre of the town, close to some of the best restaurants, osterias, pastry shops and bars. Let’s say that tasty options for lunch are not an issue! And why not a coffee break with a sicilian cannolo or an ovamurina (summer version of cannolo, typical of Sciacca)?

12. For large events (>40 persons) it is possible to book a conference room at walking distance from our co-working space located inside a completely renovated XVI century monastery. Use of private rooms based on availability.

Access
Monday-Friday 09h00-13h00. It is not necessary to book a place, as our Town Angel will be there every morning. Since the coworking space is in an ancient building, it is unfortunately not accessible by people on wheelchairs.

Desks, seats, whiteboard, large screen for meetings, printer, headset, one common PC.
Position
In the very middle of Sciacca historical centre, 3 minutes walking from the main square overlooking the sea and two minutes from Porta Palermo (the ancient gate). Close to restaurants, bars, and services. We don’t like coffee machines – the best café in town is just at the corner of the co-working space and with a 1 minute walk you can reach on of the best Sicilian pastry shops 😉
