Who we are
Carmela knows all of her goats, one by one, name by name. She raises them in her countryside at the foot of Monte Stella, in the hamlet of Acquavella-Casalvelino (Cilento). Her passion was handed down by her parents, farmers for a lifetime of hers, who taught her to produce goat cacioricotta, a Slow Food presidium and many other typical Cilento products.
What we offer
We will show our cultivation of vegetables and greens, the secular olive trees present in the countryside and we will carry out the milking of the goats, the raw material of our Slow Food Cacioricotta. At the end of the visit, a tasting will be offered with “pane tuosto and pummarola”, cheeses of various maturation with jam and other tastings depending on the season.
What will you do
They will let themselves be delighted by nature, by typical products, they will taste fresh milk and the most curious will be able to try milking!
