Who we are
I am originally from Fiumefreddo Bruzio and after studying languages and wandering abroad, I had the good fortune and the opportunity to take care of the management and reception of the widespread hotel.
It is a project that fascinates me because in addition to hospitality in environments restored to their former glory, it intends to offer a healthy lifestyle with agricultural food, women’s cooking and rural experiences at the center. My mother Rosa takes care of the garden adopted by the Osteria where guests can taste local and zero-km products, as well as organic wines and oils, baked goods made from local grains and forgotten cuisine. So our guests can stay in environments where stone, wood, arches and architraves give a warm and welcoming atmosphere, telling the history of the territory and at the same time experiencing the lifestyle of the village, and a healthy and conscious diet.
What we offer
Traditional cooking workshops with tasting, to learn how to prepare the potato omelette without eggs at the Fiumefreddese or the “filiciata” and other native dishes, fruit of the domestic memory of housewives.
What will you do
We will visit Rosa’s garden and the secrets of healthy agriculture, we will collect the products to be used for our laboratory and we will reach the kitchen of the wine tavern where, guided by a housewife from the village, we will prepare traditional dishes and taste them together.
