Describe your accommodation
Located in a lovely farmhouse, this accomodation is a very cosy and traditional apartment with original and beamed ceilings and stone walls. Not only this is a real Tuscan looking apartment, but the location is also ideal for day trips around Tuscany: in fact the Arno Valley or Valdarno is very central to the region, between Arezzo and Florence, and within 1,5 hour drive from most famous touristic destinations of Tuscany.
The unit has a fully equipped kitchen for your home cooked meals and a large living room where you can sit and enjoy a good book. Outside the entrance, a private veranda with a flourishing wisteria to offer summer shade, perfect for a glass of Chianti wine and al fresco dining! The bedroom with beamed ceilings, in the back, is very quiet and with pool view. Bathroom with shower and laundry facilities.
Pool area and BBQ a few steps away. Free WiFi, Private Parking and Tourist guide information available.
In the unit you have a large table, in the bedroom a small desk in front of the window. Otherwise, we encourage you to spend some time outdoors overlooking the tuscan rolling hills, under a patio shaded by jasmine or passionflower or one of the many hidden “pensatoio” (remote sitting area) inside the 3 hectares of our private botanical park!
The Valdarno welcomes the flow of the Arno river towards Florence. South of Florence, north of Arezzo, we have the Chianti hills on one side and the imposing Pratomagno chain on the other. This is an area rich in history and unique natural beauties, such as Le Balze. An area of recent industrial development which, however, has its roots in ancient peasant and mountain traditions thanks to a rich and varied territory and a very fertile soil. Many small companies and small producers and artisans make this area very interesting from a tourist, eno-gastronomic and productive point of view, it will be a pleasure to welcome you and introduce you to our territory, whose beauties are still mostly unknown to travelers, and thanks to our local knowledge network at km0 you cannot leave without sitting down to taste dishes and excellence of Tuscan culture and tradition!
