The oldest part of the village is dominated by the Doria castle and is called “Terra” (Téra in the local dialect) by the locals. The modern part, called “Borgo”, stretches out on the opposite side.
In the main street you could find several services: restaurants, shops and ‘alimentari’ - no super markets here, just local products during your stay!

Nature
The town offers a number of opportunities for nature lovers, who will find several paths and trails in the surrounding area; just try one of our E-bike excursion discovering Dolceacqua grassy meadows and vast forests.
Food & Wine
Dolceacqua is surrounded by terraced hillsides, here vineyards and olive grooves are cultivated to produce the local wine “Rossese di Dolceacqua” and “Taggiasca” olives. For food-lovers, never end a meal without a piece of the traditional Michetta bread, once you try it, you won’t be able to stop!
Art & Culture
The town is not only famous for its perched castle but also for making Monet fall in love with it during one of his Workation trips 😉 There must be more then a reason why Dolceacqua featured in one of his paintings.
Mobility
The nearest railway station is Ventimiglia (10 km from Dolceacqua), from where you can reach the village by a convenient bus service run by Riviera Trasporti. The nearest international airport is Nice (50 km away), alternatively Genova airport. For those who enjoy cycling, there is a cycle path that connects to the sea promenade in about 20-25 minutes. A few minutes driving, you could reach also the famous ‘Riviera dei Fiori’ (Ventimiglia, Bordighera, Sanremo).

The co-working space currently houses the meeting room of the Italian Touring Club’s Orange Flag Countries Association. It is located in the historic centre on the top floor of an imposing seventeenth-century palace owned by the Marquis Doria family.
A separate space located in the ancient Castle is optimal for events, pitches, and large meetings: in a freshly renewed area of the castle, this futuristic space can host more than 60 people and has a large 8 seats table. With a large projector with audio, is the perfect addon to the standard co-working.
The building has a lift and high speed connection with optic-fibre, the perfect place to work without distraction and have a productive day.

CO-WORKING FEATURES
Description
Our co-working space in Dolceacqua is located in a 17th century building in the town centre, with elevator. It is made of two rooms: the first room is on the top floor, which can host up to 8 remote workers from where you can have a nice view of the town, while the second one is at the ground floor, can host up to 4 remote workers and is shared with the local library. The building is in one of the characteristic small cobblestone streets, and close to restaurants, cafés and all the attractions.

40sqm (top floor room) / 20sqm (ground floor room).
Access
Monday-Friday 09h00-18h00. Our Town Angel will open the rooms and welcome you – please tell her one day in advance when you intend to use the coworking space! The space is accessible by people on wheelchairs.

Desks, seats, projector (available on request).
Position
Just in the middle of the town and close to all points of interest of Dolceacqua. Have a break at the café just right at the corner!
